IPLEX SHIPMENTS ARRIVE

Patients under the care of ALS WORLDWIDE Medical Director, Dr. Michael E. Schafer, have received their initial shipment of Iplex.  After two years of requests, negotiations and application processing, the first of the "trickle down" results have begun.  Due in large part to the mobilization of the ALS community, coupled with resolute determination, this victory has been achieved.  But the fight is far from over.  Only a handful of patients are included in this preliminary clinical trial.  The next step involves monitoring all patients through comprehensive, FDA approved written reports and documentary film clips of each patient's progress. Because "a picture is worth a thousand words" ALS WORLDWIDE has asked all patients to film themselves both before and during treatment to provide more conclusive documentation. We hope in the near future that this initial, patient driven clinical trial will enable any and all ALS patients access to Iplex.
